Investigate the fall of the Republic and rise of the Roman Empire in this hands-on workshop and immersive exhibition experience.
In this workshop students dive more deeply into the demise of the Republic and rise of the Roman Empire. Using historical sources, objects and critical thinking, students explore the causes and consequences of the fall of the Republic and the significance of figures like Octavian / Augustus.
Students will have also explore the spectacular Rome: Empire, Power, People exhibition as they journey through the Roman world. From its divine origins to the rise of powerful dynasties, from legendary military conquests to the intricacies of public and private life, the grandeur of Roman civilization emerges in all its complexity.
Including over 150 artefacts from Museo Nationale Romano and National Archeological Museum of Florence, immersive environments and multimedia, this is a not to be missed exhibition for history students of all ages.
