Tycho, our cheeky dog with a knack for getting into trouble, is blasting off to Mars!

Join Tycho the dog on his amazing trip to Mars. This Planetarium show for lower primary students is all about the red planet, it’s features and where it might have water.

Students will experience

  • Tycho's amazing journey as he accidentally jets off to Mars.
  • Catchy songs and breathtaking full dome visuals in fully reclining seats.
  • A tour of the features of Mars, including Olympus Mons and a martian storm.
  • Meeting “Oppy”, NASA’s Opportunity Rover.
  • Slipping and sliding through ice caves under the surface of Mars.
  • A 10-minute guided tour of the night sky.

Students will learn

  • The significant differences between Earth and Mars.
  • Environmental conditions on Mars, including gravity, atmosphere and weather.
  • The history of Mars exploration by NASA.
  • Where water might be found on Mars’ surface.
